MET Gala 2015

Tegnap este tartották az idei MET Gálát melynek, illetve a kiállításnak a témája a Kelet inspirációja a divattervezőkre. Függetlenül attól, hogy melyik öltöztek a témához és mennyien nem, az idei felhozatal nem bizonyult annyira lenyűgözőnek, mint az eddigiek. Több izgalmas név is hiányzott, mint például Blake Lively, Emma Stone vagy Marion Cotillard. Persze így is rengeteg estélyi vonult végig a vörös szőnyegen, melyeket szemrevételezhetünk, már el is készült a Facebook fotóalbum rövid kommentárjaimmal. :)

Last night was held this year's MET Gala, which and also the exhibition had the theme China through the looking glass. Irrespectively from the fact that more or less people dressed up according to the theme, this year's line-up wasn't as impressive as the previous ones. There were some stylish names missing such as Blake Lively, Emma Stone or Marion Cotillard. Although still a lot of celebrities attended, so there are enough dresses to look through, so I already made a Facebook photoalbum with my short comments. :)

Októberi címlapok / October covers - 2

Elle US

Az első címlap elég sápadt lett, de a második gyönyörű. Bár be kell látni, hogy nem Gaga szépségének köszönhető... de nem ez a lényeg. A szín-, és textúrapárosítás tökéletes.

The first cover is quite pale, but the second one is wonderful. Although we have to admit, that it is not thank to Gaga's beauty... but it's not the point. The color-, and texture-pairing is perfect.

Vogue Paris:

Nekem elsőre kicsit furcsa volt a nyárias háttér, nem illett a stylinghoz, de végülis kicsit sötétebbre színezték és jó lett. A csodás modell Edita Vilkeviciute, akit őrületes alakkal áldott meg a sors.

For the first time the summery background was a little bit weird for me, but they colored it darker so it's good. The wonderful model is Edita Vilkeviciute, who has such a great shape.

Vogue Thailand:

Különlegesen szép fotó, finom színek, elegáns modell. Liu Wen gyönyörű az új címlapon.

Vogue UK:

Az előzőhöz hasonló a színhasználat, azonban itt a pink elég erőltetett, nagyon erősíti Alexa Chung bájosságát, de nem a jó értelemben.

The color-using is similar to the previous one, but here the pink just make the lovely-effect of Alexa Chung stronger, but not in the best way.

Harper's Bazaar Czech:

Az erős vörös és Amanda hamvas szépsége tökéletes pár. Egyszerű, de szép címlap.

The powerful red and Amanda's peachy beauty is a perfect pair. Simple, but nice cover.

Vogue Spain:

A spanyol Vogue mindig dögös, de bájos címlapokat termel. A mostani is hasonló, a megfelelő őszies beütéssel. Andreea Diaconu pedig tökéletes modell ehhez.

The spanish Vogue always produces naughty, but lovely covers. The current one is also similar with the equivalent fally style. And Andreea Diaconu is the perfect model for it.

Elle Brazil:

Jó címlap lenne. Szép a modell, nyárias a fotó, de hogy Daniela Bragának minek kellett így felemelnie a kezét...

It would be a great cover. The model is pretty, the photo is summery, but why Daniela Braga had to put her arm up like this...

Vogue US:

Bár szerintem rengeteg remek alany lett volna, az új Vogue címlaphoz, de egész jó kép lett Sandra Bullockról, a ronda frizurán kívül. Elképzelni nem tudom, ezt hogyan csinálták, de sikerült elérni, hogy borzasztó legyen...

Although I think there would be thousands of great women to have the new Vogue cover, but it is a nice pic of Sandra Bullock, apart from the ugly hair. I can't even imagine how they did it, but they achieved it to be horrible...

Vogue Germany:

Axente Vanessa most már mindenhol megtalálható, amire alig lehetnénk büszkébbek! Az őszies színek és (valószínűleg) a styling is passzolt volna, azonban ennél kényelmetlenebb pozitúrában már nem tudom, hogyan tudtak volna fotót készíteni róla...

Vanessa Axente is everywere now, which we couldn't be more proud of! The fall colors and (probably) the styling would pass too, but I don't know a worse positure to take a photo of her...

Vogue Deutsch

Nicole-ról Camilla Akrans és Patrick Demarchelier is készített sorozatot és így címlapot az új számba. Nekem az első, természetesebb jobban tetszik, amit Camilla készített.

Camilla Akrans and also Patrick Demarchelier took a shoot and a coverphoto of Nicole, to the new issue. I like the first more natural one, which was taken by Camilla.

Harper's Bazaar US

Sofiát ebben a kínos pózban és a szokásos megvilágításban nem is kérdés, hogy Terry Richardson fotózta... Az előfizetőknek járó címlap viszont szép Candice Swanepoellel, csak a belőle világító nagyon-kék feliratot nem értem.

 No question, that Terry Richardson was, who shot Sofia in this awkward pose and usual lighting... But the subscribers' cover is nice, with Candice Swanepoel, I just don't understand that showy very-blue title.

Vogue US:

Érdekes választás volt Claire Danes. Engem azonban nem igazán győzött meg. Talán ha kicsit sötétebb témát választottak volna és nem Annie Leibovitzot fotósnak valami érdekes is kisülhetett volna, de így nem lehetett elrejteni az érdektelen arcát.

Claire Danes was an interesting choice. But she didn't really got me. Maybe, if they would choose a darker theme and not Annie Leibovitz to shoot something interesting would come out, but like this, they just couldn't hide her uninterested face.

Elle Spain:

Bar Refaelinek csak úgy vibrálnak a szemei, a ruha gyönyörű, a kép szexi. Csodás címlap!

Vogue Australia:

Egészen egyszerű, de Sofia Coppola igazán szép, a színek lágyak, a felirattól pedig kicsit extrább.

Quite simple, but Sofia Coppola is really pretty, the colors are soft, but it's more special because of the titles.

Vogue Paris:

Az egyik honlapon rámutattak az egyértelmű hasonlóságra a júniusi amerikai Elle-lel, de a styling ezerszer jobb, a kabát Darián nagyon tetszik.

On one of the websites, they show the obvious similarity with the june issue of american Elle, but this styling is so much better, I love the jacket on Daria.

Elle US:

A smink kicsit fura, de ettől és a stylingtól lett különleges. Itt viszont idegesítő a szöveg, mert rálóg Amandára.

The make-up is a little bit weird, but it's special because of this and the styling. But here, the titles are very annoying, because they're on Amanda.

Vogue Spain:

A színek furák, Karmen Pedaru szőke haja borzasztó egyébként nem lett olyan rossz.. De legalább most kicsit eltértek a szokásostól.

The colors are weird, Karmen Pedaru's blonde hair is terrible, but otherwise it isn't so bad. At least they did something different from the usual now.

Harper's Bazaar Korea:

Nagyon szép! Tetszik a közeli fotó, Amanda gyönyörű és a vörös színt tökéletesen használták, ezzel is erőteljessé téve Amanda szépségét.

Very nice! I like the close photo, Amanda is beautiful and they perfectly used the red color to make Amanda's beauty more powerful.

Marie Claire China:

Hasonlóan erős színeket használ címlap, csak itt a fehér dominál. A zöldtől és a vöröstől még világosabb, élénkebb árnyalatot kap. Szép! A modell Yuqi Zhang.

The cover uses similarly strong colors, just here the white prevails. 'Cause of the green and the red it gets an even lighter, bolder shade. Nice! The model is Yuqi Zhang.

Elle Turkey:

Tetszenek a világos színek, tavaszias és a fehérben frissek és fiatalosak. De ki ez a Selma Ergec Orlando mellett???

I like the bright colors, it's springly and they look youthful in the white clothes. But who is thos Selma Ergec next to Orlando???

Vogue Thailand:

Karlie aranyosan néz ki, de fura, hogy mögé bújik. Egyébként a gitárt nem is értem... Nincs funkciója.

Karlie looks cute, but it's weird, that she's hiding behind the guitar. Otherwise I don't even really understand the guitar... It has no function.

Glamour Italy:

Nyárias, de a kendő nagyon idegesítő és kicsit fakó a fotó. Barbi sminkje se az igazi. Túl sötét az élénk, színes címlaphoz.

Summery, but the kerchief is so annoying and the whole photo is a little bit pale. Barbi's make-up is also not too good. It's too dark for the bold, colorful cover.

Gondoltam csinálok neki egy külön bejegyzést, majd hogy megvárom az editorialokat, de végül ideraktam őket. Érdemes rájuk nagyítani!

Steven Meisel fotózta a 6 különböző címlapot az olasz Vogue 25. évfordulójára. Akkor sorban:

- Az első címlapon megdöbbentő, hogy Cameron mennyivel szebb a másik két modellnél. Egyébként tényleg olyan, mintha a Prada kampányból szedték volna ki.

- A második az egyik kedvencem. Nem túl meglepő, hiszen mediterrán témájú, Dolce & Gabbana ruhákkal és a csodás Gisellel.

- Harmadik: WoW! Nagyon szép Natalia göndör haja, bár a szürke háttér nem tetszik.

- A negyedik elég vad, Raquel nem semmi, de ahhoz képest, hogy milyen vad, kevés a kellék és uncsi a szürke háttér.

- Az ötödik teljesen őrült, de összességében minden passzol.

- A hatodik pedig csodás. Mindenki friss és vidám. Nagyon jó!

I thought, I make another separated article for these, and then, that I'll wait for the editorials, but after all, I put them here. It worths enlarging!

Steven Meisel shot the 6 different covers for the italian Vogue's 25th anniversary. Now, let's see:

- On the first cover it's shocking, Cameron how much prettier, than the other two models. Otherwise it really looks like, they were put out of the Prada campaign.

- The second one is one of my favourites. It's not so surprising, 'cause it has a mediterraen theme with Dolce & Gabbana clothes and the wonderful Gisele.

- The third: WoW! Natalia's curly hair is very pretty, although I don't like the grey background.

- The fourth is quite wild, Raquel is great, but according to, how wild it is, there isn't too much properties, the grey background is quite boring.

- The fifth is totally crazy, but altogether, everything passes.

- The sixth is amazing. Everybody is fresh and lively. Very good!

A ruhák nagyon szépek és a helyszín is nagyon díszes, de inkább lehetne egy Secret Garden-féle kampány és nem egy nagy kampány. Ahhoz túl bonyolult és túl sok.
Utólag is bocsánat a tévedésért ez csak egy egyszerű őszi kampány, nem a nagy őszi - téli. Ahhoz pedig tökéletes!

The dresses are very pretty and the place is also very fancy, but it more could be a Secret Garden-like campaign and not a big campaign. For that it's too complicated and too much.

It's my additional sorry for my mistake, because it is really just a fall campaign, not the big fall - winter one. But it is perfect for that!
