Elle UK - Showtime

A februári számba egy egészen fantáziadús és nem hétköznapi sorozatot készítettek, bemutatva a színfalak mögötti őrületet egy divatbemutató napján, a Louis Vuitton még egészen friss tervezőjével, Nicolas Ghesquiere-vel. A modellek pedig: Amalie Schmidt, Elodie Angel, Emilie Fouilloux, Daphne Simons, Magdalena Jasek, Mae Laepres, Emmy Rappe, Mica Arganaraz, Sora Choi.

They made a quite imaginative and unique photoshoot, taking a look behind the scenes during a fashion show, with the help of the still quite fresh designer of Louis Vuitton, Nicolas Ghesquiere. Vogue Paris - Panoplies

A francia Vogue decemberi - januári számában egy egészen egyedi sorozattal rukkolt elő, melyet Giampaolo Sgura készített. Lehet, hogy Jeremy Scott Barbie ihletésű új kollekciója adta az ötletet, (hiszen az teljesen megfelelt arra, hogy még be is csomagolják) de a lényeg, hogy nagyon jó sorozat készült Magdalena Frackowiak és Elizabeth Erm közreműködésével. Érdemes a részleteket is megnézni. Minden stimmel!

The french Vogue made a quite unique photoshoot, taken by Giampaolo Sgura for its december - january issue. Maybe Jeremy Scott's Barbie collection gave them the idea (which was already perfect for packing), but it became a great shoot with Magdalena Frackowiak and Elizabeth Erm. The deatils are also worth taking a look at. Everything fits!

Harper's Bazaar UK:

Nagyon tetszik! Rosie tüzes, a szőrme vad, kitűnik az uncsi Louis Vuittonba öltöztetett címlapok mellől...

Harper's Bazaar Australia:

Nos, Penelopé gyönyörű, a jobb keze rossz helyen van, a neccpóló pedig egy nagyon rossz ötlet.

Well, Penelopé is beautiful, her right hand is in the wrong place and the fishnet shirt was a very wrong idea.

Instyle UK:

Az Instyle fehér hátteres, azonos pózban lévő címlapja ilyenkor működik. Ha van egy izgalmas ruha és egy csodás modell. Minden stimmel, azonban nem mindig ezzel kéne próbálkozni, mert legtöbbször nem jön össze ilyen jól.

Instyle's covers with their same white backgrounds and poses works well, if it looks like this. An interesting dress and a wonderful model. Everything matches, but they shouldn't always do this, because  it doesn't come together always this well.

W magazine:
Na ez már izgalmasabb... Rihanna nagyon jó modellnek, csodásan néz ki. Tökéletes egy hasonló vad címlaphoz!

Well this is way more interesting... Rihanna is a great as a model, she looks gorgeous. Perfect for a similar wild cover!

Vogue Germany:

Nagyon örültem, mikor megláttam, hogy Axente Vanessa kapta a címlapot, de megint ezzel a sápadt sminkkel és lapos hajjal próbálkoztak, ami most nem működik, akármilyen szép is Vanessa.

I was so glad, when I saw that Vanessa Axente got the cover, but they tried this pale make-up and wet hair style again and it does not work, although Vanessa is beautiful.

Vogue Paris:

Nos, ennél azért jobbat vártam. Sajnos még a francia Vogue is az új Louis Vuitton kollekcióba bujtatta Nataliát. Nagyon szép az arca, de nem túl kiemelkedő a kép.

Well, I hoped for more than that. Sadly, even the french Vogue put Natalia into the new collection of Louis Vuitton. She's such a pretty face, but the picture is not so groundbreaking.

Vogue Russia:

Egész vidám kis címlap lenne, jó stylinggal, ha nem lenne az az ostoba paróka. Lindsey Wixson pedig helyes a fotón.

It would be a great cover, with great styling, if there wouldn't be that stupid wig. But Lindsey Wixson looks lovely.

                       Ősz / Fall

Több címlap is készült, de ez tetszett a legjobban. Emily DiDonato és Sean O'Pry nagyon passzol egymáshoz, kár Mr. Testino félre-photoshoppolta Emily szemét...

Augusztusi címlapok / August covers - 1

Vogue UK

Örülök Victoriának, a brit stílust pedig mindig jól csinálják, de nem lettek túl kiemelkedőek a címlapok.

I'm happy for Victoria, and they always represent the british style well, but the covers aren't so outstanding.

Vogue Korea

A 18. évfordulóra több címlap is készült, tetőtől-talpig Louis Vuittonban. Nekem azonban leginkább csak ezek tetszettek. Az is elég lett volna, ha csinálnak 1 vagy 2 emlékezetesebbet.

They made more covers for their 18th anniversary, in head-to-toe Louis Vuitton. But I only like these two. They should do 1 or 2 more memorable one, not 5 or 6 mediocre.

Vogue China:

Nagyon tetszik, hogy Ariona vidám, bár lehetne kicsit természetesebb. Ettől függetlenül a színek is szépek.

I really like Arizona smiling, although she could be more natural. Otherwise the colors are very pretty too.

Fashion Canada:

Nem túl különleges, bár ez a fura ruha is jó áll Zoenak, de mindenképp meg akartam osztani, mert roppant bájos a fotón. (Bár most, hogy ezt is sokáig néztem az ő mosolya is kissé erőltetettnek tűnik... Ne nézzétek sokáig! :D )

Not so special, although even this weird dress fits Zoe well, but I really wanted to share this, because she looks so lovely here. (Although, now that I watched it too much, her smile also looks kinda unnatural... Don't look at it too long! :D )

Vogue Deutsch:

A 80-as évek stílus jól áll Anjának, bár nem túl vidám fotó, egy távolabbi, vagy teljes alakos jobb lett volna.

The '80s style looks great on Anja, although it isn't a so lively photo, one from further or a full-length one could be better.

Louis Vuitton: Spirit of Travel

A Spirit of Travel kampányhoz Peter Lindbergh készített néhány csodás fotót, Karen Elson és Edie Campbell közreműködésével. Néhány fotó már a májusi W magazinban is megtalálható. Nos, a tervezői ruhák és a táskák nem igazán illenének a képbe, de valahogy minden passzol és nagyszerű képek születtek. A zsiráfok pedig számomra csak még vonzóbbá teszik őket! ^^ Egy videó is készült, néhány szép jelenetet megörökítve a fotózásról.

Peter Lindbergh took some wonderful photos for the Spirit of Travel campaign, including Karen Elson and Edie Campbell. Some of the photos are already in the may issue of W magazine. Well, the designer clothes and bags shouldn't really fit into the pictures, but somehow everything just matches and amazing photos came out. And the giraffes just make it all more charming for me! ^^ Also a video was taken, showing some nice scenes from the shooting.

Paris Fashion Week - '14 F/W

Ezzel a bejegyzéssel is eléggé megcsúsztam, de időm se volt túl sok, illetve ez a divathét tart a legtovább és tartalmazza a legtöbb showt, így a dolgokat összeszerkeszteni sem volt olyan egyszerű... De most már minden kész, úgyhogy íme egy kis visszaemlékezés Párizsra:

- A színek terén a bemutatott kollekciók többsége a vörös, bordó, burgundi árnyalatokat használta (Christine Phung, Elie Saab, Giambattista Valli), de kellemes meglepetésként a zöldes és narancsos színek is feltűntek, persze visszafogott és elegáns formákban (Vionnet, Kenzo, Zadig & Voltaire).

- Az overall már a nyári szezonban is visszatér (hamarosan egy street style cikkben is szerepel majd) és sok tervező praktikussága miatt az őszi kollekcióba is belecsempészte. (Givenchy, H&M, Leonard, Paul & Joe)

- A kabátok persze elengedhetetlen darabok és ha már a designerek nagy része még mindig rövid ruhákba és szoknyákba küldte ki modelljeit, legalább hosszabb, minimum térdig érő kabátokat adtak rájuk. (Dior, Elie Saab, Givenchy, John Galliano, Miu Miu)

- Az övek manapság kedvelt kiegészítők és most több kollekcióba hangsúlyosabb szerepet kaptak, vastagságukkal, kemény anyagukkal vagy díszítettségükkel. (Balmain, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Vionnet)

I know, that I am late again with this article, but I didn't really have enough time and this is the longest fashion week, including the biggest amount of shows, so I had plenty of things to edit... But now, everything is ready, so here is a little throwback to Paris:

- With the colors, there were red and burgundy shades in most of the collections (Christine Phung, Elie Saab, Giambattista Valli), but as a sweet surprise we found some green and orange colors too, of course, only in low-key and elegant ways.

- The jumpsuits already has a comeback in the summer season (there will be also a street style article including them too) and a lot of designers put them into their fall collections too. (Givenchy, H&M, Leonard, Paul & Joe)

- The coats are most-have pieces and if the designers already dressed their models into shrt skirts and dresses, they gave them some longer coats, with a minimum knee-length. (Dior, Elie Saab, Givenchy, John Galliano, Miu Miu)

- Belts are really used accessories nowadays and in a few collections they also got some bigger parts with their thickness, hard material or ornaments. (Balmain, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Vionnet)
